Emilia Greenway and Madeleine Cho, both juniors, placed sixth and seventh, respectively, for Crescenta Valley High in California at the season-opening Palos Verdes Mini Meet, covering the 2-mile layout at the Palos Verdes Course in California. Greenway clocked 12:45.37 and Cho ran 12:50.19 for the Falcons, who finished third overall with 56 points.
