Parker Simmons, a senior at Crescenta Valley, won the boys varsity 2-mile in 10:07.42 at the season-opening Palos Verdes Mini Meet at the Palos Verdes Course in California. Crescenta Valley had five athletes finish in the top 15 to prevail by a 40-58 margin over Saugus.
