Riverton senior Joey Nokes took second in the boys 6A final at the Utah UHSAA Cross Country State Championships at Sugarhouse Park. Nokes covered the 3-mile course in 15:24.9, lowering his 10th-place time of last year from 15:47.2 to help Riverton place third with 102 points.
